I've noticed in my Etsy shop stats that some people are searching the term "black bridal bouquet", so I thought I better give the people what they want. I think the popularity of the black bouquet rises around Halloween of course and the recent marriage of Avrill Levine could also have some thing do to with it. This is just a glimpse of the bouquet , for the whole shebang you'll have to wait!

    Welcome ladies and gents to another edition of Betty's Favorite Things! Today I will be sharing my love of black lace appliques. This is a new found love that I hope I carry on a long time. It all started when I decided I had to have a sexy wedding dress with black accents but couldn't find one at an affordable price. What's a girl to do? Add her own black to a plain dress of course! And so started my search for black appliques.

     Surprisingly, I can not find any black appliques in my local sewing stores, they have white but no black. The online search then began. I have since stumbled upon this lovely Etsy store.
